The mens rea followed by the corrupt politician was like just not enough! That to jut out we have many commoners and un-commoners that adds to the trail list in the mayhem rectitude above the law. Azad hind express the train that runs from Howrah to Pune, there is a stop in between called Nagpur. To the issues pertaining already in the country call is ‘whatever’ movement; the trains from Howrah are running perpetually late. The train was already late 6 hours 30 minutes obviously ‘not cool’. There was a bunch of boxers in some army regiment who were travelling as well, in 3tier AC compartment. These were no less than 35 in number, boxers as the sport suggest; not the kind of people you would like to land up in a fight with.

These so called sportsmen were drunk, the whole wagon smelled of liquor. To the top it up these boxers had fidgeted with the females in the compartment. They surely reported it to the police. The train hopelessly tried to get running three times; and three times the chain was pulled. The delay was only delayed. The women had to say that these people need to be out of the train so that they can continue the journey.

There were cops, somebody from the army huge ‘tamasha’ the complaint after cogent efforts was written down. The copy of the same was another issue, leaving all the things and details aside. The person who was trying to fight for all this the cops themselves tried to take him out of the train. Why? You are doing that to the commoners. The so called ‘boxer’ was settled in another wagon wherein an officer guaranteed that shall not be able to leave the wagon and create any more mess.
Out of all the government machinery army or defence in general; is one of the most reputed organisations in India. Is this to be expected from the defence personnel’s? This is just one of the instances. Traffic signal hopping and jumping over the signals is like a fad, the traffic signals are meant to be followed, even if the roads and empty which really does not happen much. The cops catch up while talking on the phone and jumping the signals and the usual thing to the cop “you know who my father is?” At times it is like I wish to ask don’t you know who your father is? But keeping these aside, the gist is who else is above the law? As far as I know Ambulance, fire brigade and police in case of emergency are allowed to jump signals where are all these newbie’s coming up from?

Few find joy and are proud of jumping signals and getting free. So now if I recall the corrupt politicians who cannot be charged are above law, the nippers of a son of a gun is above law, the so called people with some political connection is above law,  any law strictly applied in an organisation is an atrocity to the people in quota’s; obviously they are above the law, the billionaires with frauds and scams are free and above law, the big gangsters with some hanky panky contact is out free on the roads obviously above the law, the defence (yes I agree they have a different law that is applicable to them only) but still. There is a list that has come to surface of the people / bodies / commoners / un-commoners that are above the law.

Not to forget the least the police, who act as the custodians of the law; whose primary responsibility is to maintain law & order nay to say; well let’s not get in to the details. Who else is to be added to the list any suggestions? A lot of people would not turn up to say that Foxtrot Union Charlie Kilo law I will break it as well; but let me remind you my friend. The one who can complain about it is the one who have followed it. You stop your vehicle on the signal and others would follow you. Everybody’s responsibility is no one’s responsibility. People look for a leader, be the change to see the change. Abide by the law so that others are compelled to be under the perimeter of the law of the land. Either by choice or by force.

Rebuffed citizenry

How much are we hearing the Jan lokpall bill? How much are we able to hear about Kiran Bedi, Anna Hazar or Kejriwal? For second thoughts; is everything in media or the general public forgotten in a brandish? When it is there, it is the only thing that is there; and then it evanesces (and gone for good, bad actually obscure disappearance takes place with no closing). Are we actually used to ‘chalta hai’? And even if that being the case when does it seem to stop? Loads of questions right, but think about it! When the fasting by Anna or Ramdev and again Anna was on that was the only thing as left on earth to discuss about. Go to office that story is the first greeting, go to see friends they would talk about it, see the news (Oscar Mike Gold; the number is increasing; every minute detail was a news) walk by and you can over hear the people talking about it. Now what?
Are you trying to tell me that so many people who had come together have been given a capsule to ‘forget partial memories’? New problems, old solutions or old problems and new sham statements. Everything is actually crystal clear; the end notion is nothing happening (tell me something new). This dialog we have heard a number of times in our movies ‘have you ever seen a corrupt politician being charged of their doings?’ well let’s not stretch this. But one last multimillion question to be asked ‘has the media also forgotten about it? Or it made sure that don’t talk about it?’ ssshhhh koi hai.
Let’s talk something new now borders are under a threat! Ok tell me something new about it again, well the new thing is that before they were a threat only at the borders; lately it has been found out that they are entering our territory and making their presence felt by marking the stones. I guess basically creating a landmark map don’t you think? It is kind of important and of great concern that the cities, the borders are not being appropriately guarded. Will we wake up again when it is too late or till then ‘chalta hai’ would continue.
It is not that I have forgotten; it is not that I don’t care; it is not that I can’t do anything about it; it is au found ‘chalta hai’ my question is how long? Scams and the moolah consociated is just a number now; it only starts with crores and ends with lined up zeros behind it. There is no blame game here I want to bring to surface let that be to the politicians. Here I am to bring about a fundamental question do we want to change? Corruption is adept when it for me; but a curse when for the public! Well is that how we plan to fight corruption? Is it the reason that there was the wave where everybody was together standing for it, but now we stand fragmented?
Loads of questions asked let’s try to seek a few suffice solutions. We should be able to understand what we are standing for! (Yes we are talking too much and feasibility is too little, not that it cannot happen; is it sustainable and fair at large, should be the point of determination). The Government is trying and making everything electronic lately the service tax etc. etc. shall be paid electronically (the concerned should take out time attend training and actually help them to come up with valuable and specific issues so that they can do their bit). You have a right to seek information and officials have duty to provide the same (sitting on their head and getting the information on the spot is not a lasting solution as far as I see, persistence is the key). As greatly, wisely said ‘be the change you want to see’ change might not come as the whole that we want to see, change is what we need to do our bit for it.
One statement that was made by one the Judges of India some time back apt and apt is the only word I can say “Watan ki fikra kar nadan; teri barbadiyon ke mashware hai aasmanon mein, teri barbadiyon ke mashware hai aasmanon mein; Na samjhoge toh mit jaoge e Hidustanwalon; teri dastan tak na hogi dastano mein” If we fail to act now, me may run a risk never to act again.

Obfuscate and……

How much good news is good? Is the news ever good; the demonic performing few good deeds is justified to call it for a good character. How much bad is bad so that it can be proclaimed as good? Is it unwritten law that for some good, there has to be Brobdingnagian loses? Bloody family talks are shifting from family to daily soaps; to top it up like the icing on the cake; the examples, model characters and society overview are coming from the idiot box. Our culture has gone for a ride and custodians of culture want to be proclaimed themselves as demigods! The brand image the new generation carries is that it has gone to waste.
Mobiles phones with “what’s app”, “bbm”, “gtalk”, “fb” everything right there to communicate how much are we talking? Essays of messages can be sent but when a call, boss I am busy! Good question to think about connectivity is are all these to connect or increase distances. What the…..coming back to a more interesting incident on culture, been to a very old, reputed (manna hua mandir; no location revealed because of our senti people who might take an offence for no damn good reason though), if to explain I am a mobile phone then I am in that case in “pooja, bhakti wala” mode. You enter and there is a huge line fair enough; chaos around fair enough; c’mon city lives are no different so it normal used to it stuff. Finally reached inside the temple for offering prayers; the milk is being wasted not only being wasted it is the same that falling on the floor, making it as tacky as much as you could think about, dirt, milk through away plastic cups around the floor; what a mess!
Never the less let’s move on, it is more like an adventure sport to get the glimpse of the idol and when you nearing, the custodians would jump on you to make your offerings. The offerings you wana give and the one on which they settle down does not have any co relation at all. As if the blessings are directly proportional to the offerings being made. Let’s move on again; after all we are used to mutatis mutandis, I have a question how would you expect the young to be attracted to continue or learn our rituals in such a chaos? Culture and rituals are two different things I agree completely. The point I am trying to bring forward is the culture is the gateway to rituals and not vice versa; but practically and sadly we are exposed to rituals first then to the culture.
What is right? The fully faltu daily soaps running practically 24 x 7 with at least two repeat telecasts a day on the idiot box. The culture I want to learn and attach too is more or less leading to ill feelings than blessings. What are we adopting? What are we leaving behind do we even has a clue of what all we are leaving behind? Is the culture really important or culture is what was made ages back when the laws did not exist to make sure a human being behaves like humans and not animals? Do any of these actually make sense now to pursue or to follow? Or is it that because of few rituals we are forgetting the ages old enormous wealth of knowledge that our ancestors left for us.
My inability to understand the whole might lead me to take sides whichever side I choose I would like to know the whole of it so that I am sure of my decision till then it is obfuscate.

Cowards and corrupt

Posted: September 7, 2011 in Politics and views
Coward: English dramatist and actor and composer noted for his witty and sophisticated comedies (1899-1973) or A person who shows fear or timidity; the later one is just too subtle to explain exactly what they are so why I have something new. A by product of human species they are neither human nor a species; cannot fight in the broad day light but bombard with dud costing lives of innocent people. This by product would not even fight for cause; especially because there is no cause. The extent of their inability to find a cause can be understood from the fact; nobody even has the guts to claim of their doings lately. Let me know if don’t agree with these aimless, unethical and headless chicken’s this by product of the so called human race.
Corrupt ha ha ha we have become a standing joke in the name of corruption, a study of 183 countries that how strongly you can enforce a contract (formal agreement in India). You know what we stand 182[1] wow so amazing! Let me enlighten you know. The more the number the less reliable you are to enforce a contract. How was that now? Corrupts have to evolved and upgraded to the extent that would sell of their soul only if they could find the right price. Don’t even try to think that these corrupt could think about the other people’s cost of lives forget ethics.
The blasts that took place at 10:14 am on 07th September 2011, in Delhi (the state capital, the country capital) “OUTSIDE” the high court at gate number 5, casualties increasing last I heard over the news was 9, more than 60 injured. “OUTSIDE” is of importance, the police have to claim that they did not have any intelligence for the blasts (Tell me something new I am sick and tired of listening to the same old story as much as I am sick and tired of listening to the fuel prices going up). The other important thing the police claimed very strongly is the blast happened outside the premises of the court in a public area. I have a multibillion dollar question for you who tango foxtrot is responsible for the security at the public places?
The idea is to transfer the blame from one person to the other, from one agency to the other agency nobody for the responsibility but blame every tom dick and harry on this earth. I don’t believe that paroxysm can happen in a country like India just like that. We humans have a tendency to perform under fear. If we fear breaking a law we would think about it before doing it. The fear of being caught, a fear of being prosecuted, a fear to be punished for the wrong done. This really does not work in India right? Obfuscate is nothing and wrong is absolute. Corrupts walk freely and the ones that could the see the brief of prison with special privileges make it no less than a star hotel with free meals and health benefits to live onto.
The Indian law system works in a way wherein a person caught has to be proved guilty in the court, the other way of law in Europe is that you have been caught; you have to prove yourself innocent. I am not trying to change the law system I am just trying to say that we have good law system. When would the applicability come to life? You trying to tell me a man held for serial blasts in India, in Indian prison living on tax payer’s money has been given more security than the tax payers and the prosecution could not prove him guilty for year together.
Amazing quote by the ex chief justice of India just too apt “teri barbadiyon ke mashuwaren hai aasmano mein, teri barbadiyon ke masheuwaren hai aasmano mein, na badloge toh mit jayoge, na badloge toh mit jayoge, ae Hindustan walo teri dastaan bhi na hogi dastano mein”
Let’s be the change, if we could stand together for our own lives, we would stand for long. I abrogate against the innocent losing their lives for no reason. I abrogate against corruption that is weakening my country like the woodpecker to the wood. I abrogate to the inability of ours to come along and resist injustice and define freedom.

It’s surprising to even think about I am just one of the 1.2 billion called Indian citizens how much is the worth of a life? Many have lost their lives and many more injured it has not happened for the first time! But it better be the last. I am talking about the manmade disasters; irrespective of the reasons the event has occurred and set many more than we can count in a state of fear and losses irrevocable. Who is to be blamed? Hahahaha blame game is the old recipe in the years over which our so called custodians of government have really learnt how to make a delicious dish; which sounds delicious; made to be imagined as delicious; made to believe the aroma is delicious nay to say it only exists but not in reality.
Welcome to India from a commoners view of life. There is this saying I am recalling again and again ‘United we stand; divided we fall’ how true it is. Think about it last time we acted divided we lost the country, which took generations to recover, last time we lost our respect by acting divided, but this time we are losing our lives. Reasons for Bombay (Yes I am calling it Bombay cause you know what for ages it has been Bombay; dividing people on the name of cast, religion is not interesting anymore) to be attacked is; as many of us who have actually lived in Bombay would know, that yes it is the financial hub of the country also; it is one city where the people are not divided; they act one; they behave one; even though nobody has time for nobody but in crisis everybody has acted a family; remember the floods; people did open those stores which provided basic necessities and you know what the owners rationed the products; it was not about money it was about acting responsibly; nobody had to tell them what has to be done; it was people who helped people; officials, agencies, forces they did turn up but big names, short of sight. This is the true spirit of Bombay; this is the spirit of Bombay; that makes it Bombay.
How much is the worth of a life is the question? I am not interested in what government has done; I am not interested of what government would do? I am not interested how many commissions are go na step up to give false claims that it shall not happen again? I am interested in leading where such avoidable disasters do not become the part of my everyday life! What can you do about it? Don’t make money as the barriers for the incompetence on performance cause you know what still India has the largest amounts of black money in foreign banks. It is your abyss crave of money that has lead India to become a play ground for antagonism testing’s.
No matter what you say now; who you blame now the damage is done; it cannot be forgotten and shall not be forgotten. There is this saying that we know ‘that Indians would join hands and bow and tolerate’ you know what let me complete it for you’ who only have known the first part of saying the whole thing is ‘Indians would not only join hands and bow but will also know when to open the hands and slap right on the face’. Stop hogging on the money, stop this bloody corruption, stop this mal practices, stop making laws for the heck of making them cause at the end of the day no matter how much money you have hogged upon; there is not even 1p that you will be able to take along.
Live life not just to be lived but life that has been made worth living.

>Custodians of democracy

Arguing, debating and playing with words and tones to present the same information in best suitable way to suit ones say / motive / stand that one takes; irrelevant to the cause / issues for which they were said on the first place. Welcome people to the la la land of the custodians of our so called democracy. Brilliant defenders of democracy saying nice suited words about democracy as ‘democracy is the government of the people, by the people, for the people’ well said; do you who had said this? Abraham Lincoln. I hear the same gloomy speeches / promise again nothing new about it; what next? There is another saying to be brought to notice ‘Elections belong to the people. It is their decision. If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn their behinds, then they will just have to sit on their blisters’ Guess who said it! You are right Abraham Lincoln again. Think just don’t flow with the flow; some food for thought!
Starting with the key issues for which the so called ‘civil society’ has come into play a) demolition of corruption in India and the second movement b) Indian black money primarily in Swiss bank. The agenda for getting rid of corruption looks primarily organised, well written in Black n White and foreseeable with conclusive system to work, in accordance with the motive. The second key issue recovering back the black money which amounts to more than $1.4 trillion mind it dollars not rupees,(That makes every Indian at least a millionaire Yipeee, population of India 1.2 Billion) without a clear agenda; it seems more or less like I want to go the moon, yeah sounds great but how? The eternal silence with subjective answers not objective solutions to the cause(also you don’t get interest for putting amount in the Swizz bank you get deducted by 1%  so basically 1.4 Trillion 2010 is – 1% for 2011). These issues are no longer the India against corruption movement and bringing in the black money back in India. It has become the Anna Hazare movement and the Ram Dev Baba movement respectively. Is the idea to form a system on which people can depend or returning to square one where people on which systems are going to depend?

I am no historian but depending on people has not really worked for us has it? The discretion being made that India against corruption movement is for Urban and getting the black money back is for rural population of India, who says that? Well because the people leading it, and representing the different parts of society i.e. we are forgetting the issue but retaining to the fact because of the people who are leading it again. Hello, wake up isn’t it the first problem why are we supporting the civil society? Am I really bothered about who said what half a century ago? Honestly ‘shit no’ I am here today those words were said by the ideals for the ideals not for wolves in cashing every meat in and around the jungle.

These so called debates are good putting forward the contrasting couple to face the music with live audience. It all starts good till the time somebody gets defensive and then OMG the long forgotten history is revealed, people are hunted to their graves and brought to life relation to the matter utterly unrelated to the key issues and then …….let’s not talk about it. I have once basic question to ask a) are we discriminating again urban, rural; ruling party opposition party have we forgotten the divide and rule ‘funda’ let enlighten strike you now. These so called leaders or the custodians of democracy just start playing blame and shame game again and again; even I am tired of typing it but yet again. Is the media overdoing it the multibillion question? Well media is actually just projecting the new ones nothing new anymore even in that, cash for votes, Common wealth games, 2G, the list is on….it is helping with the pile of list! Very good I am aware but what happened to the previous ones, gone with the wind? No conclusions no results, wait for the next one. Nothing wrong with that; but there can be something more right.

Laws are made for the ideal sitting legislative committee or the role of governance in the society at large for the smooth working on a system? Number of laws enacted specially recently with no utter relevance a) to the public b) practicality of laws (out of question) c) surely relevant to increase corruption. One thing that strikes back is; are these, the custodians of democracy of modern India? Well let me put it across to you this way the growth, the technology, the innovations is of the people who made it possible, by the people who worked hard to enrich the society at large and for the people who did not discriminate like your elections agenda pamphlets; to earn votes. Stop it anyways we aren’t interested in it anymore. There are issues let’s try to work out solutions then creating insoluble solvents.

Enlighten me with practicality is my cry launching a complaint, if proven wrong you go to prison OMG get a life I better pay the bribe and relax in life right, well that is the fact and that is what is going to happen, hanging the corrupt; you and I know how many have ever been caught, forget about taking them to prison to relax on our tax payed money forget about of hanging them (get them at least to prison) and then we can talk the talk.

Hindi being the language of communication hello! you asking to reinvent the wheel! you want to say brainy heads should change to language that is like never before used in terms of their whole life education? What is the major point people want to support that corruption should be eradicated that is need not funny laws and creating supremacy by bringing in topics which are not even relevant to a commoner.

Why can’t you change to english? the world speaks it and I guess the guru does not understand that the reason so many Indians are abroad and performing technological progress around the world is cause they could communicate! Are we talking growth or trying get back to the stone age?

Why are leaders so interested in the commoner life when they dont even know what are the issues? Making legislations and making sure the public has to break it has become a norm. Remember the legislation no smoking in public places streets etc…. is that possible ? No Why? no smoking areas! then what break the law. Are you trying to make some kind of joke of the legislation.

Please stop bullying people! Get the corruption eradicated in phases and practical solutions and not (Super – Man) solutions. Denying the facts is not going to change anything confronting problems with honest solutions for the betterment is going to. Please concentrate on the core issues, the actual problem the commoner already has his/her issues to be sorted out, Language, religion, caste and creed, being the least on their minds.

Dont talk about culture to us please, two things a it is democracy I have the right to decide whatever I want to speak, I want to learn, I want to follow please dont mix up things( it is ‘I’) b the ones who have made it do not exist to see the things that have changed over the ages, I mean no disrespect I mean lets be practical and the ones who want to follow anyways are free to do it RIGHT!

P.S. The quota system in Indian constitution was established for only 10 years after the enactment of the constitution, we still have it, but even my maths is bad but I am well over decades to know how many are 10 years. Stop bullying, stop exaggerating, stop trying to get leverage by the people who dont know the facts or trust you too much to believe in you, stop letting down my country, stop forcing me to believe it is not the golden bird anymore, stop making issues and please solve the issues.
